WestLicht. Showcase for Photography

In 2001, the first major venue for photography in Austria opened in Vienna's Westbahnstraße, founded by a private initiative of enthusiasts and camera collectors. Not only connoisseurs and aficionados still consider the house the hot spot for photography in Vienna. Together with its sister OstLicht, founded by Peter Coeln in 2012, the house presents an exciting international programme ranging from documentary, reportage and portrait photography to experimental photo and media art. The Camera Museum houses one of the world's largest collections of historical and modern equipment.

Fleur Christine Vitale worked three years as gallery and museum director of the company.

Projects and Job Description:

Marketing for around 20 temporary exhibitions on Nobuyoshi Araki, René Burri, Bryan Adams, Martine Franck, Mario Schmolka, Sebastiao Salgado, Secret Snapshots from the Skrein Collection, World Press Photo, presentations of young artists and competitions in cooperation with the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, the European Central Bank, the Art Directors Club of Europe;
