The OFFLINE VIENNA had set itself the task of promoting the next generation of fashion designers. From 1988 to 1995, the company, founded by the Salzburg choreographer Robert Scheu, organized a series of avant-garde fashion fairs in major European cities. Young fashion designers and fashion schools from all over Europe had the opportunity to present their latest collections to the public - in exquisite locations such as Berlin's Martin Gropius-Bau, Hamburg's Fischauktionshalle, Frankfurt Zoo, Budapest's Iparművészeti Museum and Vienna's Hofburg. Highlight of the evening: a spectacular fashion theatre.
