After eight years in show business and more than 500 successful performances, the TUMBAO DANCE COMPANY brought its first World Dance Theatre to the stage in autumn 2012 at the Vienna Theater Akzent.

CHICA DANCE - How life dances... showed the ups and downs of a dancer's life, effectively and rousingly staged.

The breathtaking variety of dance worlds ranged from salsa, rumba, samba, can can, tango to hula, hip hop, modern and waltz rhythms, choreographed for world hits from pop, rock and classical music, such as Lady Marmelade (Moulin Rouge), Chan Chan (Orishas), thriller (Michael Jackson), Mein Herz brennt (Rammstein) to Verdi's prisoner choir...

The about 30 dancers came from eleven countries.

In 2014 the show went on tour in Austria under the new title "Bailando, the dance musical".

VITALE Arts & Media Management provided marketing and communication work as well as strategic consulting for this first show project.
