While digital memories have almost immeasurable capacities, human memory is not a secure storage space. So why keep knowledge in your head?
Together with Nina Kugler (artist, University of Applied Arts Vienna) and the /ecm co-curators Christina Bierbaumer and Julia Rüdiger, Fleur Christine Vitale organized collective memorization as a different way of sharing knowledge: in this dialogical intervention, visitors were able to memorize a short, self-chosen quotation in order to take what they had learned in their heads and freely dispose of it. Sound and text tracks of the interventions were transferred - after consultation with the participants - into the exhibition space of FUTURE UNDONE. (October 2017 in Vienna's main library)
